Are you looking for an exciting career or to become part of a team? Envirolink currently has openings for water and wastewater operations. Team members will support operation of critical water and wastewater facilities that serve communities across the state of North Carolina. Team member are responsibly for operating a variety of systems associated with water distribution, production, wastewater treatment, lift stations, booster stations and collection systems. Responsibilities include operating water/wastewater treatment plants. Incumbents in this position monitor the treatment process through physical inspections, instrumentation, and laboratory analysis adjusting process as needed.. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment associated with water and wastewater systems. Ensure compliance with DEQ, company and industry standards pertaining to the operation and maintenance of wastewater facilities. Participate in activities of various professional organizations and attend seminars and training courses when necessary to maintain technical competency. Attend safety, staff and regulatory meetings
Experience Required:
US Citizen. E-Verification required; No felonies or major misdemeanors. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in field operations programs. • Possess one or more of the following Biological I or greater, C distribution or higher, Collection 1 or higher, C surface or higher. Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina Driver’s License. Excellent communication skills required including demonstrated fluency with reading, writing and speaking the English language. Readily accessible by phone with ability to work "on-call" for emergencies. Envirolink, Inc. is a drug-free work place. Initial and random drug testing is required. Successful candidate must submit to post offer, pre-employment physical examination/medical history check. Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check. CPR and First Aid certification must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire.
